Your first server
From signup to first login in under 5 minutes. If you follow this exactly, you'll have a working server by the end of the page.
Create your account
Go to /register and fill in your name, username, email, and a strong password. Usernames must be 3–30 characters — letters, numbers, and underscores only.
You'll be logged in immediately after signup. No email verification gate for now, but choose a real email — you'll need it for password resets and order receipts.
Pick a plan and order
Visit the Minecraft pricing page from the menu, or go straight to /pricing/minecraft.
For your first server, pick Dirt (₹49/month) if you're testing. For a real community, Stone (₹136/month) is the sweet spot — 4 GB RAM, 30 players, plenty of room for plugins.
Complete checkout
Review your cart, apply a coupon if you have one, then click Place Order. You'll be redirected to the Cashfree payment page where you can pay with UPI, card, netbanking, or wallet.
Once payment succeeds, you'll land on your dashboard with a green success banner showing your order number.
Wait for provisioning
Your server is created automatically after payment clears. This usually takes under 60 seconds. You'll see it appear in Dashboard → Servers with status changing from provisioning to active.
Access your panel
Once the server is active, click Open Panel from your dashboard. You'll be logged into the Pterodactyl control panel — this is where you manage everything about your server.
Bookmark the panel URL. You'll visit it often.
Start your server
Inside the panel, you'll see tabs for Console, Files, Databases, Schedules, Backups, and Settings. Click the green Start button in the top right.
Watch the console. First startup takes 30–60 seconds while the world generates. Once you see the line Done (X.XXXs)! For help, type "help" your server is ready.
Connect to your server
Your server's IP address and port are shown in the console output (look for Starting Minecraft server on 0.0.0.0:PORT). Use the network IP from your dashboard, not the internal one.
In Minecraft, click Multiplayer → Add Server, paste the IP:PORT, and join. Default port is usually 25565, but yours may be different — always use the one shown in the console.
Next steps: install plugins, upload a custom world, or invite friends via subusers in the panel.
